A biography is an account or series of someone's life and memories, which is usually published in a book form, film or audio books. Many movie stars, great historic figures, artists have biographies created about their lives. We are intrigued by how these people often with very ordinary beginnings like you and I, go on to achieve great success in their life. If the person writes it themselves it is called an autobiography.
Scrapbook is a technique for preserving the life and memories of personal and family history in the form of photographs, memorabilia, printed material which is created in decorative albums called scrapbooks. These scrapbooks can be a traditional hard copy paper scrapbook or by the newer technology of digital scrapbooking on your computer.
Can you see the similarities? Scrapbooking and biographies have more in common that you have probably ever thought about. They are both techniques for preserving memories.
